Dedicated Dental Care
Good
dental care is incredibly important for children. To help them
achieve this we are going to provide a dedicated service, tailored
specifically to their needs
From
this Spring we are introducing special 'Kids Days' when the
surgery will be dedicated to children. We will create some fun
and make sure they can relax.
Some
children are nervous about visiting the dentist and we will
help them overcome their fear. In addition, services such as
oral health education, and fittings for mouth guards will be
available.
There
will be more emphasis placed on oral hygiene and the importance
of a good diet for strong teeth. We hope to involve the dental
hygienist more in this respect.
Cleaning
your teeth carefully is important whatever your age, and we
should all change our toothbrush every three months. If you
or your children would like advice about which brush to use
please ask your dentist next time you visit. We have a wide
selection in the surgery at competitive prices.

WOW
No Fillings !
No
fillings definitely has the wow factor and is something we all
want for our children. But if your child does need a filling
all is not lost.
We
can offer them white fillings which you can hardly see. Unfortunately
we cannot provide this service on the NHS, but we want to make
it as affordable as possible.

We have a scale of charges which means
that if they
need more than one filling
the cost of each additional filling is at a reduced rate.
One white filling £40
Two white fillings £60
Three white fillings £80
Four white fillings £100

Look
Mum
No teeth !

We
won the match today but I lost my teeth is not what any parent
wants to hear.
To
avoid possible damage to their teeth Children playing certain
sports should consider wearing a mouth guard.
We
make a mould of your child's mouth and then make the guard from
this.
Mouth
guards do significantly reduce the risk of damage to teeth and
prices start at just £40
Every
child who needs it will get a FREE hygienist appointment during
which they will learn more about oral hygiene and the importance
of a good diet for strong, healthy teeth.
