Greg O’Brien qualified in 1984 at Melbourne University in his native Australia and has been living in the West Country for a number of years. Greg regularly attends post graduate meetings and is also a member of the British Dental Association and he has recently completed a year long aesthetic dentistry diploma with prestigious Paul Tipton Training in St Annes Square, Manchester. Greg’s hobbies are walking on Dartmoor, Photography, and Greg is currently “trying” to learn German. Like Justin, Greg has also been a trainer for 5 years, and they have been in partnership for 12 years.

Azud started out working as a nurse in hospital and in Dental Access Centres across South Devon, and also worked as an auditor and operations assistant in the out of hour’s service. He has been privileged enough have worked with many dentists locally and nationally. Alongside general and cosmetic dentistry, Azud is also able to provide facial aesthetic and rejuvenation therapies such as wrinkle reduction and regaining volume. He is conscientious and understanding of dental anxiety/phobia and prides himself on being able to work with his patients to allay their previous concerns and regain trust in the dental profession. While aiming to deliver the highest clinical standards, he also provides a warm, welcoming and reassuring experience for all of his patients.

James qualified from the University of Manchester in 2003 and has worked here at Pure Dental Care since relocating to Devon in 2010. James loves his job and enjoys the constant challenges that he faces. James is keen on expanding his knowledge within the field of dentistry and he has recently completed a 2 year course in advanced restorative dentistry (British Academy of Restorative Dentistry). James is also interested in the field of forensics and am a member of the British Association of Forensic Odontology. He hopes to pursue this and eventually become qualified to work in criminal investigations. Outside of dentistry, James likes to keep active and has many hobbies. He enjoys mountain biking and walking and has recently taken up fencing. James is also a keen snowboarder and tries to hit the slopes each winter.

Dr Guru Bangari qualified in India in 2003 and is a full GDC member. He completed his Masters in Public Health at Anglia Ruskin University Essex in 2010. Guru has relocated to the West Country from London. He has considerable experience in hospital, community and general dentistry and has a special interest in oral surgery. Guru tries his upmost to ensure that visits are relaxed and comfortable as possible.

Rebecca has over 10 years experience in general dental practice and has further hospital experience in Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and in Community Dentistry. She is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, London. Rebecca has a keen interest in the treatment of nervous patients and holds a Diploma in conscious sedation from Newcastle. Due to frequent requests by patients, she is introducing a sedation clinic within the group. Recently Rebecca attended Acupuncture courses related to dental treatments, which offers an alternative treatment option for various dental related treatments. Rebecca is a very conscientious and caring dental professional with a relaxed manner, and makes every effort to put patients at their ease throughout consultation and treatment. Rebecca lives with her husband and two children near Totnes. She is a keen runner and has recently turned her training towards triathlons.

Tanya qualified in 2013 from Peninsula School of Medicine and Dentistry. Prior to that she worked in hospital as a Dietitian. Since qualifying Tanya has worked in general dental practice and at Derriford Hospital as an Oral and Maxillo-facial Surgery Senior House Officer. Tanya has a kind, gentle and patient nature when treating patients. She is recently married and in her spare time enjoys Pilates, netball and photography.

Louise qualified from Bristol University in 1999. She completed her postgraduate training and masters degree in orthodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital, London and qualified as an orthodontic specialist in 2006. She was awarded the JK Williams gold medal for the MOrth examination. She gained her Fellowship in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2014. She works both in specialist practice and as a consultant orthodontist at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust. When not straightening teeth I’ll be found roaming around the great outdoors with my family! I think the best thing about being an orthodontist is when patients enjoy their new smile and seeing their confidence grow.
